MEB-HM thixotropic agent is a synthetic paraffin extracted from vegetable oils and is an amide-based paraffin with amide binding in its molecule. The MEB-HM- series thixotropic agents proposed in this material are amide-based paraffins made from hydroxyl fatty acids. Due to the binding force between the amide and the hydrogen in the hydroxyl group, this series of products have a higher melting point than common paraffins and exhibit strong thixotropy when used in solder paste.

Features
It contains long-chain fatty acid groups and amide groups within the molecule and is a stable solid surface activator resistant to heat and chemical substances. Among the waxes of fatty acids, it has a high melting point and can improve surface properties with a small amount (add 0.1 to 2.0%).

Usage method
Please add this product to the solvent, then heat and dissolve it. Cool it while stirring. Due to the precipitation of paraffin, it becomes a paste
When the solder powder is stirred and mixed with this solvent containing thixotropic agent, the finished solder paste can be obtained
The addition ratio of thixotropic agents in the solvent is approximately 2 to 10% (by weight).

Property description: White to light yellow powder or granular. Melting point: 130-160℃. Relative density 0.98(at 25℃). The flash point is around 285℃ and it is insoluble in ethanol at room temperature. Acetone; Most common solvents such as carbon tetrachloride are insoluble in water, but the powder form is wettable above 80℃. It is soluble in hot chlorinated hydrocarbon and aromatic hydrocarbon solvents, but it will precipitate or gel when the solution cools.

Product application
1) Plastic lubricant for hard ABS; Molding of hard materials such as vinyl chloride; Polishing; The internal lubricant for injection molding can be mixed at a dosage of 0.5 to 2.0, which does not affect the thermal stability of the plastic. 2) Lubricant for casting: When casting the shell, adding this product to the mixture of resin and sand as a lubricant can play a lubricating role.
3) Metal processing; When powder metallurgy bone lubricant is used in the drawing of iron wire, the application of this product can increase the drawing speed, extend the service life of metal molds, and improve the smoothness of the iron wire surface. In addition, during the final metallurgical molding process, before the metal melts, this product is first used for bonding and as a lubricant for the metal mold, which can reduce the wear of the metal mold.
4) Anti-sticking agent in the adhesive; Wax; Adding this product to plastics and other materials can effectively prevent caking and has good demolding properties.
5) Viscosity regulator. For asphalt; In terms of paint strippers, adding this product to asphalt can increase the softening point, reduce viscosity, and enhance corrosion resistance in water or acid. Adding this product to the paint stripper can improve the performance of the paint stripper.
6) Anti-corrosion agents: The anti-corrosion of electrical components is usually achieved by waxing. If this product is added to the wax, the properties of the wax layer can be improved. In addition, adding this product to coatings or sprays can enhance their salt water resistance and water resistance.
7) Surface brightener: Adding this product to rubber in coatings can enhance the smoothness of the baking paint surface and the surface gloss of rubber products. This product is non-toxic.
